EPPO and EU Law: a Step Forward in Integration
Closing Conference of the Jean Monnet Course of Excellence on the role of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office
The University of Milano-Bicocca hosts the final conference of the fourth module of the Jean Monnet Course of Excellence “Steppo: a Step Forward in Integration”, focusing on the work of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) as an innovative form of enhanced cooperation between states. The conference will address current developments in the European Public Prosecutor’s Office and will present the VR Serious Game, a simulation of the prosecutor’s investigations, as well as discuss the expansion of EPPO’s competences in areas such as taxation, VAT fraud, environment and the avoidance of European sanctions. Corrado Giustozzi, cybersecurity expert and partner at Rexilience, will speak about the relationship between EPPO’s tasks and the new challenges posed by cybercrime.
