Simone Brunozzi is a tech executive, founder and investor with a background in Computer Science and 20 years of experience across the globe as entrepreneur and startup founder, corporate executive and CTO, and investor.
Simone grew up, studied and worked in Italy until 2008, when he joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Technology Evangelist for EMEA, APAC and Americas until 2014, moving from Italy to Luxembourg, then Singapore and finally San Francisco, where he spent 9 years of his life.
During that time, after AWS, he joined VMware as CTO for public cloud, started a micro-VC fund (Mission and Market, or M14T), co-founded a startup (Cloud Academy, acquired in 2019), co-founded another startup (Fabrica), and spent the last two years as Operating Partner at Cota Capital, before returning to Europe in late 2020.
After some consultancy work, he and his business partner decided to start a new VC fund headquartered in Europe, investing in global enterprise tech companies. The fund is expected to launch in early 2022.
